Club 27 Kids Academics K-1st grade is a one-hour class that includes read-alouds with books across various genres and subjects; and age-appropriate math activities.
Club 27 Kids Academics 2nd-3rd grade is a 1.5 hour class that includes standards-based supplemental support in Language Arts and Math. Students will participate in novel studies, reading comprehension, spelling, and handwriting. Math concepts will also be covered, including drills and practice. A monthly lesson in Science and Social Studies will also be covered.
Location: In-person classes in West Lancaster

Class Size: 5 student minimum

About the Instructor
Tim McClure has lived in the Antelope Valley since 1988. He is a graduate of Moody Bible Institute, where he earned his B.A. in Education, and Chapman University, where he earned his M.A. in Education. Tim began his career teaching 6th grade at a private school, and after two years he moved on to teach 4th grade for 26 years at Sundown Elementary School in the Westside District. He has also enjoyed working with all grade levels as charter school teacher for 18 years. Tim and his wife homeschooled their four children and have a great love for the homeschool community!
