In Club 27 Academics, students receive engaging, standards-based support in Language Arts and Mathematics through interactive and skill-building activities. Language Arts instruction includes novel studies, vocabulary development, creative and structured writing, grammar, reading comprehension, listening activities, spelling, and handwriting practice. Math instruction focuses on strengthening foundational skills, building fluency, and increasing confidence through guided practice and enrichment activities. Students also explore exciting monthly topics in Science and Social Studies designed to encourage curiosity, critical thinking, and real-world connections.
Cost: *$132/month per student ($108/month for non-charter school students)
Location: In-person classes in West Lancaster

About the Instructor
Tim McClure has lived in the Antelope Valley since 1988. He is a graduate of Moody Bible Institute, where he earned his B.A. in Education, and Chapman University, where he earned his M.A. in Education. Tim began his career teaching 6th grade at a private school, and after two years he moved on to teach 4th grade for 26 years at Sundown Elementary School in the Westside District. He has also enjoyed working with all grade levels as charter school teacher for 18 years. Tim and his wife homeschooled their four children and have a great love for the homeschool community!
