In the Club 27 Academics class, standards-based supplemental support is given with a focus on Language Arts and Mathematics. Students participate in novel studies (including vocabulary and writing skills), grammar, listening quizzes, reading comprehension, spelling and handwriting. Math concepts are also covered, including drills, practice, and games. A monthly lesson in Science and Social Studies is provided, as well as group games as time allows.
Cost: *$132/month per student ($108/month for non-charter school students)

About the Instructor
Tim McClure has lived in the Antelope Valley since 1988. He is a graduate of Moody Bible Institute, where he earned his B.A. in Christian Education, and Chapman University, where he earned his M.A. in Education. Tim began his career teaching 6th grade at a private school, and after two years he moved on to teach 4th grade for 26 years at Sundown Elementary School in the Westside District. He has also enjoyed working with all grade levels as charter school teacher for 18 years. Tim and his wife homeschooled their four children and have a great love for the homeschool community!
