Club 27 Board Games is a class that meets once per week. This class teaches students to use logic and strategy through the use of group games and table games in a social setting. Qualities of good sportsmanship are developed, which include developing healthy social interactions during play, as well as how to win with humility and how to lose with grace. Logic and Math is enhanced for students who participate in this class.

  • Location: In-person classes in West Lancaster

  • Cost: $48 per month per student ($40 per month for non-charter school students)

  • Dates: Wednesdays, September 3 - June 3

  • Class Minimum: 5 Students

About the Instructor

Tim McClure has lived in the Antelope Valley since 1988. He is a graduate of Moody Bible Institute, where he earned his B.A. in Christian Education, and Chapman University, where he earned his M.A. in Education. Tim began his career teaching 6th grade at a private school, and after two years he moved on to teach 4th grade for 26 years at Sundown Elementary School in the Westside District. He has also enjoyed working with all grade levels as charter school teacher for 18 years. Tim and his wife homeschooled their four children and have a great love for the homeschool community!
