Neighbors Empowering Youth (NEY) Pop-Up Homeschool STEM Studio Open

Lab + Capstone Outcomes!

Explore robotics & coding, 3D printing, laser cutting/engraving (WOOD ONLY), digital art (Wacom), and Silhouette stickers/vinyl then choose ONE capstone to finish by Week 4.

How Open Lab stays structured:

  • Week 1: Explore all stations + mini starter makes

  • Week 2: Choose a capstone + lock your design/plan

  • Week 3: Build, fabricate, and go over with instructor support

  • Week 4: Finish + Showcase Day + take-home project + mini-portfolio (photos + files)

Capstone menu:

You may choose one of the following; please select by week 2

  • Take-home robot + coded mission demo. Keep upgrading over time.


  • Nameplate + phone stand/organizer engraved and polished.


  • Name puzzle, maze board, or mini game set designed and finished.


  • Phone stand/organizer/fidget; optional engraved wood base.


  • Anniversary/birthday/message plaque engraved and gift-ready.


  • Bring your own mug or glass to engrave. Optional matching sticker.


  • Original art/logo → sticker sheet + 2–4 decals.


  • Engraved wood keychains/tags + sticker branding + product card.


 

PAYMENT DETAILS:

  • 2:00pm - 4:00pm — $100 (4-week session)

  • 2:00pm - 5:00pm — $150 (4-week session) (Extra build/finish time)
