Club 27 Academics summer classes meet once weekly for three hours on Wednesdays from June 7th through August 9th. Support in Language Arts and Math, and summer session will include a game time as well.

Course Details:

• Meeting Dates: June 7th - August 9th

• Times:

  • 3rd - 5th Grade Class: Wednesdays 10:15am - 1:15pm

  • 6th - 8th Grade Class: Wednesdays 1:30pm - 4:30pm

• Class Size: 5 - 12 Students.

• Cost: $125/month per student ($115/mo for non-charter school students)*

• Location: In-person classes in West Lancaster, near 27th West and Avenue L8.

*Charter funds are sometimes not available for June, and are typically not available for July and the first part of August (check with your charter teacher).

**August is prorated for half of the amount since class is only held the first two weeks.

About the Instructor

Tim McClure has lived in the Antelope Valley since 1988. He is a graduate of Moody Bible Institute, where he earned his B.A. in Christian Education, and Chapman University, where he earned his M.A. in Education. In 1991, Tim began teaching 6th grade at a private school, and after two years he moved on to teach 4th grade for 26 years at Sundown Elementary School in the Westside District. He has also been a charter school teacher for 16 years, starting in 2005, and taught at Hope Christian Academy for the 2020-21 school year. Tim and his wife homeschooled their four children and have a great love for the homeschool community!
